OTTERBURN'S HELL'S ANGELS
Back in the early '60's' there was a small
group of guys (5) that used to drive their "scooters" around Otterburn.
As time went by they purchased motorcycles. Then came graduation and
off to work they went on their bikes. Soon all 5 left Quebec to settle
in other parts of Canada to grow old.
Bryan Cloran, Jim Gurr and Rick Witcher
headed for Sarnia , Ontario in 1966. Thereafter Bill Morrison headed
out to Vancouver and after that Dick Boyer landed in Calgary.
All five of these guys have kept in touch
over the years and have visited each other regularly. They have also
kept their interest in motorcycles all this time. Fourty years plus.
On Sept. 03-05 Bryan, Jim and Rick left
Sarnia with plans to make it to Calgary, through Canada. To their
suprise (and many others) they made it.
In Calgary, Dick was waiting to join the
crowd. Now with 4 motorcycles together we headed off to Whistler B.C.
With the help of Betty Ann (Booth) and
Lindene (Jervis) we had plans for a mini reunion in Whistler.
Once arriving at Whistler, we moved into
Betty Ann's chalet for two nights . Betty Ann, Lindene, Bill Morisson
and Bernie McCarthy were all there to greet us. Great reunion and lots
of good stories past and present.
Leaving Whistler we headed to Vancouver
Island (now 5 motorcycles) Bryan, Jim, Rick, Dick and Bill Morrison.
We spent a week on the island and toured out to the Pacific.
Took the ferry to Washington state then
spent the next 12 days touring the northern states and then back to our
respective homes. We covered over 13,000 km in
28 days of driving . Not bad for 5 old boys.
The trip was memorable and all enjoyed
themselves. It just shows you , "you can do anything you
set your mind too".
Attached are some pictures . Hope you enjoy
them.
